CHRISTMAS GIVING TREE - get your tags now!

Are you looking to help make a child's Christmas a special one this year? 

Harvest Fair Sat Nov1st AND Election Day

The Fair is happening with a new schedule: Crafts, Baked Goods and White Elephant on Nov 1st - the Saturday before Election Day.  Then on Election Day (Tuesday, 11/4) we will have the luncheon and a smaller crafts booth.  Please come and bring your friends!

All of the proceeds go to mission outreach donations.

Celebrating 10th Anniversary of the UMW Book Club

The Ladies of the Fishkill United Methodist Women’s Book Club will be celebrating our 10 Year Anniversary this year.  We have read approximately 120 books and developed meaningful relationships wile discussing books, events and our own experiences.  In celebration we are having a book club celebration at Sharpe Reservation here in Fiskill on Mother’s Day weekend.  We will head up to Sharpe on Friday evening, and leavethe mountain on Sunday morning to come back to attend worship.  Jane has lots of fun plans on Saturday and folks can stop by and join us any time o

Our next quarterly book club will meet Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 9:30am at church to discuss "The Book That Matters Most" by Ann Hood.

UMW Quarterly Book Club

Mark your calendars now!  The Harvest Fair is set for Saturday, Nov 4th and the Election Day lunch is the following Tuesday, Nov 7th.   There will be plenty of ways for everyone to help - watch for sign up sheets or see any of the UMW leaders.

Hand craft workshops have started and we would love to hear any ideas for projects you are working on or would like to try.  Please contact Jane Rausch or Dot Keller with any questions or ideas so we can have some fun working together!

UMW Quarterly Book Club

Our next book selection for our quarterly book club is 'Prayers for the Stolen' by Jennifer Clement.  This is a story about Mexican girls who have to hide their gender to survive.  We will be meeting on Saturday, April 15 at 9:30am at church to discuss the book, enjoy food and fellowship.  Hope you can join us!

Our last book was The Lake House by Kate Morton.  We all gave this a thumbs up and highly recommend that you read it.
